Tribute beer to Miles Davis. A dark ale brewed with honey and gesho root that I think would be technically be called an Imperial Stout. On the nose, bark, molases, honey, coffee, chicory, and chocolate. On the palate, balanced, layered, very mocha latte, with a good finish. Dense and meaty beer that I’d like to try with a stew.

Port Brewing Older Viscosity
Bourbon barrel aged stout beer. Coffee like color. On the nose, very intense chocolate, tamari, toffee, smoke, malty character, pretty f’ing delicious nose. On the palate, espresso, molten lava cake, with a fermented soy component, and rich malty finish, pure candy! Dare I say “the stuff that dreams are made off”, try this beer.
Alaskan Brewing Company Baltic Porter
The Alaskan Brewing Co. Baltic Porter is a seasonal beer first made back in 2007. I had it for the first time, on tap at the Fiddlers Inn in Wedgwood during the Spring Blackout Festival. Pours a menacing jet-black with a lack of carbonation which helps the flavor of this masterpiece taunt and tickle you taste buds. i love to alliterate. Flavors of vanilla, bourbon-soaked cherries, banana, coffee and caramel compliment the subtle smoke like no other porter I’ve had. This beer could kick a polar bears ass.
